Vision
Our vision as a company is to be the most respected motor vehicle company in Kenya and with this in mind; we are engaged in various projects that reflect our responsibility towards the society in which we engage in.
The D.T Dobie Millennium Forest located in the Nairobi National Park was started in 2001. The aim of this annual project was to provide a natural fencing area between the park and the surrounding pastoralist communities with the indigenous trees being planted also providing shade and sustenance to the animals in the park.
D.T Dobie was among the first corporate bodies to introduce the HIV/Aids programme within the organisation in 2001. Through a system of peer educators, we have been in the forefront of educating our employees as well as our surrounding publics through donations to various AIDS benefit organisations. Our organisation also provides ARVs to our HIV positive employees and their spouses so that they can continue to lead normal productive lives.
D.T Dobie has a bursary fund for our employees whereby the top 5 candidates every year of the KCPE exams qualify to have their secondary school fees paid off by the company throughout the 4 years of high school.
