Christmas Craft FairSunday, December 07, 2008
Christmas, a the time for merry making, giving and receiving was with us once again. As tradition would have it, D T Dobie wished to give back to the community by sponoring the 2008 Christmas Craft Fair held at the Ngong Race course.
Tree Planting - 2nd Year Saturday, May 03, 2008
For the second year round, D T Dobie staff and family came together to plant 1,000 tree seedlings as part of our millenium forest project at the Karura Forest. The trees act as a buffer against human developmet and also provide a barrier against plastic paper bags that get blown into the park.

D T Dobie Staff welfare intiative received Kshs. 3.5 million boost from the parent company, CFAO - France, who were most impressed with the welfare programme instituted by the staff members who adopted Upendo Village in Naivasha as our Corporate Responsibility programme.

Donation to 'Save a Life' FundTuesday, January 08, 2008
Following the December 2007 General Election, the country was severely afflicted by post election violence that left several people displaced and businesses destroyed, left without the basic necessities of food, shelter and clothing. In an effort to help the Internally Displaced People of these skirmishes, DT Dobie donated one million shillings to the Nation Media Group to assist the Kenya Red Cross aid Agency in providing relief to these people.
Regional Sub Saharan Diagnostics TrainingMonday, July 02, 2007
The first ever DaimlerChrysler Sub-Saharan training in Africa took place at the DT Dobie training centre in Nairobi from the 2nd to the 20th of July, 2007.
Thirteen of the best Mercedes Benz technicians were selected from Mauritius, Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Kenya to take part in the diagnostic training on the latest Mercedes Benz- E-Class model and the wiring system of the most technologically advanced S- Class model.
DT Dobie Donates to Upendo VillageMonday, April 16, 2007
DT Dobie staff have adopted four children at the Upendo Village Home and shall on a monthly basis donate Kshs.18,500 towards the upkeep of the home. The home caters for HIV postitve adults and children.
DT Dobie Apprentices visit DaimlerChrysler Training Centre in Stuttgart, GermanyWednesday, March 14, 2007
Apprentice trainees from DT Dobie Kenya got the opportunity to visit DaimlerChrysler training institute in Germany. Accompanied by one of the institute's instructors', the trainees got the opportunity to interact  and train with the apprentices from Germany.
Under the initiative of the General Manager of the Service Department, Stephen Farrelll, this project  will eventually be a students exchange programme under the sponorship of a major stakeholder.
